OK, I am going to spend alot of time surfing the forums and finding out a bunch for myself, but I was hoping someone could give me the low-down on where I should start to look for issues, what I should do first, good mods to start with and overall some things to be aware of with my new car. My last car was a TDI Jetta and I spent alot of time on tdiclub.com and even sponsored a few GTG's. Now I am the newbie, got some advice for me???

I just bought (on eBay) a '99 A6 wagon 2.8 with 83K, got it for $8500 so I think I did OK there. It has the third seat and is an auto.

I would like to get a GTG on the calendar to meet some of you too, must be a forum for that...Thanks --

for the gtg post it in the regional section. as for the 2.8 there really isn't all that much you can do, at least for cheap. You could put a PES supercharger on it, (my plan for next summer) but that is 5 g's. only exhaust system i've found is the supersprint but it is also very expensive if you buy all the components, you could chip it but its only goin add 5-10 hp. and then theres always body stuff.
