99 a6 abs light on ? and needs cat.
my cel is on bc it says need replace cat . can i buy a universal cat inplace or only audi cats? also where can i look for the abs light coming on ? the brakes ? they seem good ?

If the cat is really bad, you have to replace it. Before doing this, google the bad cat symptoms and see if you have those. If not, then your cat probably isn't bad and ecu throw a code due to ecu threshold too sensitive, narrow range. CEL on is an eye sore.
