well just thinkin of using the HID. I don't think mine is hid regular bulb.
which HID kit you guys use? and what headlight bulb it uses?(sorry I haven't pull it out and check...)

The HID system in Audi's uses a different housing altogether from the non-HID lights. If you have a V6 A6 and are looking to convert to HID's I have a set of headlamps with bulbs and ballasts I will trade or sell. Let me know if you are interested. I work at an Audi Dealership.

yeah H1 lights and i am woking on installing now just have to find out how to get the headlight housing away from the lens if ti si possible...

that being asked. i have a 99 audi a6 2.8, and i would like to get an HiD kit for my car but i want to know if my audi uses hid or halogen bulbs.
what would i need to do? buy a conversion kit??

H1 if not already have HID on it.

 

i have a 99 2.8 and did not have HID so i got the kit and waiting to get them in thursday cause i can not figure out the wiring

 

polka salad, would my car have the same issue as yours? im not sure if i need to buy just the HID's or the whole conversion kit.

if you just get the HID bulbs everything will melt or at least get messed up because they are too much for the stock wiring. pmed you back
