a6 2.7t miss fire

I have a 2000 a6 2.7t 6spd that runs rough at idle and check engine light flashes when drivin getting code 300 radom miss fire any one have any ideas what could be

Can't help you with the rough idle issue but can tell you you will have more than a rough idle if you continue to drive it with a flashing CEL.

Does it happen all the time or intermittent? Any pattern - like when first starti up or when hot? When was the last time you changed plugs? Do the codes point to overall mis-fire or mis-fire from particular cylinders?

I've had my car temporarily run rough and CEL appears after putting in E10 gas. It rough idled for a while, then I drove it considerable highway and it cleared up, although the CEL stayed on. I have correlated this in the past to using E10 and it causes an issue with my cat sensors that cause the CEL to stay lit.

not driving it i drained gas and ran fun till i put more gas in it just dont make since so ordered new fuel pump and changed fuel filter se what does when get fuel pump.
