Just pick up my A6 last weekend and im trying to get the A/C sorted out. I'm not sure if it has the the original A/C condenser on it, and if not weather the correct one has been fitted as it has thread connections and the pipe coming from the compressor has a pad fitting. I've been trying to find an image for the condenser for an A6 2.7t quattro on the net but sorry come up with nothing. If anyone has a 2001 A6 same as mine could you please have a look for me. You should be able to see without disconnecting or removing anything, what you are looking for is 2 connections on the bottom left of the condenser which is located in front of the radiator, the top one is fairly easy to see but you might have to look a bit harder for the other one as its underneath the first one.

The hose from the compressor does look like its orignal and would be very hard to change so this leads me to believe that ists the condenser that has the wrong connection.
