Default A6 2007, speaker wiring non bose amp

hi

I am trying to add aftermarket amp & sub to audi a6 2007 NON BOSE, MMI High 2G

can anyone help with speaker wiring colors/position on the amp/amp connector to tap into it and install the amp?

I looked at this link but its for bose system and wiring differs from what it says here, presuming its because of bose system

http://audiforum.us/threads/aufterma...audi-a6.13513/

thanks

Had no response here but had some luck and got the sub/amp working now

here's the wiring details if someone is looking to add aftermarket sub / amp to a non-bose system in audi a6

32-pin connector

1 - +12V (terminal 30)
2 - Earth (terminal 31)
3 - Bass loudspeaker front left (+)
4 - Bass loudspeaker front right (+)
6 - Door loudspeaker front left (+)
7 - Door loudspeaker front right (+)
8 - Door loudspeaker rear left (+)
9 - Door loudspeaker rear right (+)
15 - Bass loudspeaker front left (-)
16 - Bass loudspeaker front right (-)
18 - Door loudspeaker front left (-)
19 - Door loudspeaker front right (-)
20 - Door loudspeaker rear left (-)
21 - Door loudspeaker rear right (-)
23 - Microphone for J507 (+)
25 - Analog input (+)
27 - Loop break diagnostic wire
28 - Microphone for J507 (-)
30 - Analog input (-)

the procedure is listed on the link below for bose system and there are some helpful images to guide your installation, I followed it but tapped into wires as per above details due to non-bose system

I did it and in business now.

It took me 5 hours to do the job had to do it twice because the crapy snap-loc connectors from maplin didnt work and had to use the old fashion cable stripping to tap in, so if you lucky, you may be able to finish under 3 hours

thanks for the really useful info m8!
I'm planning to update audio system as well

If I'm not mistaken Audi stock stereo consist of 3 way components on front doors

do you know which way are they wired?

if mids and tweeters wired on one channels and separately subs?
