Default A6 Avant Automatic Shift Aluminum Console Source ?

Hi all:

On Monday I will be the proud new owner of a 2004 A6 Avant..can't wait ! The shiny aluminum shift console is a little scratched up and I'd like to get a new one. Does anyone know best place to get one other than the Audi dealer ?

Many thanks...JB

its removable after you pop out the wood trim around it.. which just pops up.. but shokan has them but there just as bad as what you probably have.. mines pretty scratched up too but o well i deal with it.. and there 300+ from the dealer.. otherwise there really really hard to find..

Great info guys! So is this thing made out of aluminum? It seems like it is plastic.
