Default 2002 w/ tempermental blinkers & service warning

Ok, my 3.0 quattro has "service" on the center screen which I'm sure is just a preprogrammed warning at certain intervals - how do I reset that?

Now, for the real problem....
My blinkers work when they want to. This just started a few days ago. Sometimes they'll be fine, others it will blink normally & mix in a fast blink & then other times it will do nothing (becoming more common). They seem to work normally when I hold the stalk down until just before it "clicks" into place. Sooooo, is this an issue w/ the stalk or is there a relay I can trace down? I'm trying to sell this car and now this popped up in the middle of my Ebay auction time period and I'd love to fix it - I don't like to "Oh, and then there is this issue....." to people.

search for directions to reset your service light. I can't remember off hand what combo of buttons you push, that and I never clear mine, I just don't care.

Sounds like you need a blinker/hazard relay. It's VERY common and super easy to change. It is located behind the hazard button.
