A6 C5 '99 gear **** flaps between TIP and Drive
Hello!
My '99 A6 gear shift mechanism has probably something broken inside - i used to have to apply some pressure to the stick to switch from Drive to TIP, but now it just flaps between them and i have to hold it when in curves, to stop it flapping from manual from automatic. It almost seems like some plastic switch has broken off, (The gear switching with TIP works flawlessly).
Anyone know if this is possible to repair without buying a whole new gear shift mechanism? I opened the cover, but since it is already broken i dont understand what's the problem.
