A6 C7 - Amateur Race worthy?

This is my first thread. I'm trying to track down information on whether an A6 C7 is worth taking the track?


I have found hardly any information on this, and that is why I'm coming to the Audi Forums.


Is the A6 C7 worth taking to the track? Or should I start looking at an A5 or A4 to have a car to do some auto cross or time trials with?


Any information is helpful. Thanks ahead of time!

I have 2012 C7 A6 and have taken it to the track over a dozen times. My A6 came with the sport suspension and handled really good with this suspension. However I wanted it to handle and brake better. So, in that vein, I have done a number modifications. For a 4 door heavy sedan I think performs exceptional but would A5 or A4 perform better? It all depends those to models come only with the 2.0T were as the A6 does come with the 3.0t if you want it. That is the engine I have. Both A5 and A4 certainly weigh less than the A6. Hopefully this info will help you in your decision.
