Default RE: A6 dti Timing belt

hi, just having myn done at the moment, i know the people that are doing my cam belt change and they have advised me to have all pulleys plus the water pump changed as it is very rare that a belt snaps, its usually a tensioner that ceases or breaks up. water pump on myn, 2.8 v6 is run off the back of the cam belt so its advised to change as its only a extra £35 anyway!! i have been quoted £570 job done but i know its a front bumper, rad, etc etc... off on the v6`s. PS..... My belt was changed 48k`s ago and one of the tensioners had seized making the belt slack. i have been very lucky! no damage caused. hope this helps.
