Sure, just google around for interior dashboard kits, they're mostly carbon fiber:
http://www.autoanything.com/dash-kit...bon_fiber.aspx (i can't find anything specific for the a6 right now)

and, hahaha, oddly enough you can make it MORE brown:

I know in the C5 a6 you can take the pieces off and have them painted. Or you cna just go to one of the above sites and get an overlay type of dash covering. I had one in my old passat abd it looked very nice

If one could disregard the logo on steering wheel, I would say you are provoking us with a photo from an Accent!

Nothing personal, but Audi backed off from the distinctive elegant interior known for years.

Maybe the old interior designers are retired and the company uses Asian assistance?

There are 3 or 4 different wood grains available, as well as carbon fiber. The entire kit will run you about a $1,000 on e-bay.

I think it looks sharp. Don't care for the MMI, though.

popping them out and painting them would be fine

what color would be bested?

I don't like that carbon fiber

The best color would be one that doesn't throw you off anymore; a color that blends with either the overall interior trim, or with the instrument panel's "silver".

That interior looks pretty good to me, better than the last gen A6. Lexus is from Asia and they have pretty nice interiors.
