A6 Start/Stop button replacement.

I have a cracked Start/Stop button on my 2008 - A6. Does someone know how to remove the MMI console cover and replace this button? Can you recommend a parts seller with reasonable prices for this part?
Thanks,
Jeff

2008 Audi / Warranty?

Hi Jackmup,
Already tried that with one dealer. Was not helpful in resolving this matter, said it was beyond the warranty period for interior trim items. Going to try another dealer that I've had better luck with in the past. Thanks.

Interior trim item???

That is an electrical part. Ignition switch.

If it's still functional (he just said cracked) the electrical part is just fine and it is indeed an interior trim part.

Yes, this part is classified as an interior trim item because it is the plastic cover piece over the underlying electrical switch. Interior trim pieces are covered for only 12 months under warranty. Fortunately, the other Audi dealer's service manager was kind enough to replace this piece under a good-will warranty claim.
