ABS light on and E-Brake light flashing
 

hi i own a 1999 audi A6 Quattro
recently my ABS light went on along with the Parking brake light which is now flashing non stop.
ive stopped using my audi and have been using my other car incase the abs problem is serious.
does anyone else have this problem? do i have o replace my whole ABS unit?

your abs just doesnt work...either a wheel speed sensor has shit the bed or abs control unit isnt working...i had the same problem and i had a bad control module, i took it out and sent it to get it rebuilt for 50$, you gotta run a vag-com on it to see what its calling out to be able to tell if its the module or a sensor.

modulemaster does a good job, i forget the site that i sent it into but i got it rebuilt for 50$ including return shipping (i think maybe it was 100$) anyways it was alot cheaper than a 300$ new part. Its deff worth it to do it yourself, modulemaster gives you instructions on how to remove and install it

ditto. go to modulemasters.com. easy and cheap and it works.........
from what I remember both flashing lights means the module and not the sensor.
if u haven't had any recent brake work done I'd say 100% it's the module.
