Default ABS wiring?

Hi, I had the orange ABS light and the flashing red exclamation mark on my 1999 A6. Took it to local specialist who said there was no communication to the ABS ECU and would need replacing. I got it repaired and refitted to my car. The red exclamation mark went away, but the orange light stayed on. Plugged it back up to the diagnostics and got code 00287 speed sensor rear right-G44 Open short circuit to positive.

So I've had it in the garage today and had this speed sensor replaced and the fault cleared but the light stayed on and the fault came right back. The garage think this might be a wiring issue.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a pin-out diagram for the ECU connector so I can check the wiring is working OK from the rear speed sensor?

Thanks for any advice and help you can offer.

Sam
