Adding navigation aftger the fact

I'm new to the forum and looking to purchase a 2006 or 2007 used Audi A6. Many of the cars I've found do not have navigation. It is the one feature that I would really like in the car. Can navigation (factory) be added to these cars or does it have to come from the factory? Thanks for your input. I'm sure I'll be back to lend my thoughts once I've made my purchase.

Nav was a factory installed option. I know a few people have discussed installing it after the fact, but I don't know if they followed through. It is probably best to just keep looking for car with Nav already installed. By the way, you will love the C6. Go for the 4.2, it isalot more fun than the 3.2.

I ended up calling the dealership and they informed me they do not sell or support the installation of factory Nav after the fact. It's a factory prepped option according to them. I think the best option would be to find an A6 with the unit already installed. The price range I'm in is under 37K. Thanks for your input, I'll probably kill the request at this point.

You can easily get a 2006 model withclose to20k miles (fully loaded) for less then 37k. Just have to know where to look.

Take a look at Auto Trader, you can easily get an 06 with the 3.2 for mid $20s with 25K miles. With your budget you could even step up to the 4.2 and have some fun :D

cars.com or audiusa.com ....look for certified cars on audi site that are available at the dealer. I just saw plenty of cars within your budget...4.2 is also an option for you..might have to negotiate a little.
