AFS Headlight Replacement
Hi All
I have a 2008 A6 4.2 with adaptive headlights 8Q3. My mechanic went to change bulbs and found the harness is defective (disintegrated). Audi does not have a replacement harness and the only option is replacement of the whole headlamp ($1200 each). My question is can I change both headlights to non-AFS easily or do I have to keep the AFS system and replace it with the same type? Has anyone had this issue?
