aftermarket radio no FM signal...
I'm installing a new head unit in my 2002 audi a4. Everything works fine but the radio. I can get AM stations but get nothing from FM but static. I got the antenna adapter from crutchfield and I know I have it hooked up correctly. And I have the extra blue "amplifier" wire hooked to a 12v source. Any suggestions? If I hook up the OEM radio the reception is fine.

there may be a switched amplifier for the antenna signal, are all the wires from the original radio accounted for? Is this car an avant with the antenna at the back?

It's the regular sedan version not the avant. I believe the antenna is still located in the back on this model. As far as I can tell all the wires are accounted for. I can get AM stations no problem, but it acts like there is no FM signal at all because I can't even get my sirius radio to work.

I popped a Clarion head unit into my 2002 A6 with little problem. Got iPod, Sirius, Bluetooth hookup and color matching that makes it look like it was part of the car to begin with.

I have the same problem :( but then again I do hate listening to the radio. Pandora all the way!
