AGA 024715* 2.4L v6 30v quad over head cam questions
would love this thread to become the one stop spot for this engine if their isnt another one already.
I had trouble finding info anywhere so started this thread, hope it is a first sorry for any inconvenience if there is already a thread, a link to a pre-existing thread would be much appreciated.
any info on this engine would be great, and wondering if i can stroke it by using crank and pistons off another lager displacement Audi v6 engine where it just drops right in no hassle, plan is to twin turbo and eventually create a track car and might even through in a supercharger with the twins in the long run.
year model ect would be good to know
again any info would be great want to know as much as possible and any info is good in regards to this engine, and assuming these engines rev hard hopefully like 9 grand if right things in place an example would be much appreciated.
and if there is a similar engine to act as a donor for parts ect would be good to know.
iam aware that this engine may be used in a a4 model as well
and rebuild kit info would be much a appreciated
car its going in is 93 audi 80 2.6e v6

You won't find what you want here. Try the motorgeek board. Those guys are almost as crazy as you. One guy I know put a twin turbo 4.2 into an Audi Coupe.
Good luck with this but I am skeptical that you will succeed with that engine, it is not known for being very reliable.
The only V6 with larger displacement is the 3.2 which was introduced in 2005. You might be better off starting with that engine in the first place, it is known to be more reliable.
AFAIK there are no aftermarket build kits for these engines. You would have better luck with the 2.0T. In my personal opinion the best engine from Audi for mods is the old 2.2 liter turbocharged inline 5. It is a solid engine and can be boosted to 30 PSI and still live a long and happy life.

thanks mate, those inline five are great ive been looking for one and if there threads or something about issues of unreliability ect for this engine a link or info would be good thanks mate
