Default All LED tail light replacement for 2006 a6 / c6 - do they exist?

I need to replace my tail lights (one went bad) and I was thinking of going aftermarket instead and getting an all LED tail light. The only problem is that there seems to be plenty of solutions for the c5 a6, but very few for the c6 version (my Audi is a 2006 a6 Quattro). I did see this one on eBay http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=98193725013 but the seller said they won't work on Audis that have the led bar in the oem tail light which I thought was strange because I though all US versions have the same setup.

Does anyone know of a nice plug and play led tail light solution for a 2006 a6 that is under $500?

I was also thinking of maybe getting some used oem tails and changing the bulbs to Putco LEDs, but I am not sure if that would cause errors to display. See PUTCOŽ - Audi A6 2006 Tail Light Replacement LED Bulbs. - this is not my preferred method however. I would like a plug and play solution if it exists.

Ok I found another seller who has An all LED tail light solution located here Audi A6 LED TAIL LIGHTS (C6 /2004-2008)

He says they will work on my car however some coding changes will be required via VAGCOM. He said he will send instructions on how to program this. Has anyone bought from him? He said that he has sold to 20 c6 owners in the US who are all running the lights OK.

Try topauto.com. It is a German company with great customer service. I just received and installed Friday my new LED tail lights for my C5 and they absolutely change the look of the rear of the car. It took a few weeks for them to be shipped over but worth the wait. I think they have applications for later A6 models.

I talked to them and they said that their led tail light will not fit quattros, which is strange because I don't think there is a difference in the size?

That is strange. In the C5 series the RS6 and 4.2 L are wider, but I beleive all 6 cylinder cars, including the Quattro are the same width. I also believe that the tail lights in the C5 series are all the same, only the headlights are wider for the 4.2 L You would have to check with the other C6 owners but I'd be surprised that they would be different.

I know, I was thinking about taking a risk and ordering them, but if they dont fit I will be out almost $375 and wont really have a way to sell them...

Ok so I did find another possible solution here:

Audi C6 A6 Quattro V6 3.2L > Lighting > Tail Lights > ES#2550920 LED Tail Light Set - 4F5945096NKT

My Audi mechanic told me to check out their site, and they have these which they list as the European version of the lights which are LED. I called them but they couldnt really provide me with much information. I wanted to make sure that these lights are all LED similar to these:

Audi a6 led taillight 4f - YouTube

Does anyone know if the euro spec ones that ecs tuning sells will look different than my stock US led tail lights?
