Another low oil/ burning oil question, 2.7T
 

I've owned my car since the beginning of June and the dealer had performed an oil change and the sticker says I don't need an oil change until either 25,000 or September 27th. I still only have 23,000 miles and it's a month away from September 27th. Do these cars have a problem with burning oil with this low of miles?

The dealer is just saying 25,000 or September 27th, whatever comes first.

No, I bought the car out of state and I'm just going off the sticker on the windshield that they had put on there. I never once had a low oil light come on in my 99 A4 with 107,000 miles and I'd go 5,000 miles easily between changes. I'm just wondering if these cars burn 2 quarts of oil in 3,000 miles.

When I buy cars, I always get my oil changed within like 2 weeks because I dont know when the last oil change was done, like in your case, you basically dont know, and the oil light came on too. IfI were you, I would just get it changed, atleast you'll know.
