Anybody have experience with OE Wheels LLC?
Well, the other night, late, in the rain that seems to be resident in the northeast anymore, I nailed hard a set of railroad tracks.... I bent three of my wheels. Between that and potholes I've concluded that 19s and 35 aspect ratio are not practical.
I'm looking for something a little more sturdy, without breaking the bank in this economy, and came across this ad for 18s with Falken 912 235/40 tires... for $800 + shipping. Ebay link attached but they have their own website with similar (but not this exact) deal.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Au...Q5fAccessories
Did a little research, haven't called them yet - but wanted to see if anyone's bought from these guys, know someone who has, has experience, etc... This is a fair bit cheaper than my next best option but wanted to do some diligence...
Your feedback appreciated, and thanks in advance,
Rick

See signature -- I think these ran me about $750 delivered 2 years ago. Not bad, but I have noticed some paint flaking so quality not as high as I would have liked. If you do a forum search on RS4 replicas you may find some other posts about other sources.

I bought a set of chrome 18" OE Wheels about a month ago. So far, excellent wheel. See my attached post

TFT,
Sounds like good experience and they do look pretty on your silver 4.2. With that, I can see about what they will look like on my silver 2.7T. Will likely pull the trigger on this next week, as the vibration from 35 to 42 mph now with bent rims is driving me crazy... and traffic is not letting me do the obvious response to that (ie, keep well above 42).
Any other responses out there?
thanks,
Rick

Scott, are you from OE wheels? If so can I make a suggestion? How about making some DTM replica wheels like shown here
I would buy those in a heart beat if you keep the similar pricing as your other wheels.
