Anyone have a DIY for Cam Plugs?

You just tap them in until they are flush with the head, don't go any farther! If you can leave a little bit sticking out of the head than thats perfect. I usually use a large dead blow hammer and tap it in lightly.

I noticed that the plugs have threads on the ends of them.....that's why I was wondering if they screwed into place...
What's the purpose of the threads?
Also, are they hard to get to? Do I need to remove a lot of items to get to it?
Thanks.

Threads are not slopped. They help friction fit. Before you tap in the caps, apply really thin coat of high temperature gasket sealant around the thread.
As for getting to them, you need to remove intake hose from the airbox to the throttle body. Also the coolant reservoir. I don't quite remember whether you need to remove breather hose, but if you do, be very careful. It will break with a slightest force. Other than that, I think it is just miscellaneous wiring and vacuum line removal. Just look at the back of the motor.
