I have a 2008 2.0 A6 tdi the service light has come on but I have only done 2500 miles since it was last serviced 12 months ago, The service light comes on every time I turn on the ignition, is there any way I can reset this or should I get it serviced again....? Many Thanks for any advice. Drew

 

I think that in all Audi's the service intervals are a fixed mileage or 12 months whichever comes first. I am not sure of the mileage for service on the TDI, on the petrol engines it is 10,000 miles. You did not put on the miles but you hit the 12 month trigger. You should get it serviced. By the way, to reset the service indicator you need to connect the car to a computer (dealer or VAG-COM). Unfortunately on this car it cannot be reset by some magic combination of button presses.
