There is a s4 running a gt35 single turbo set up.. I am pretty sure if you can change a 2.7T system from twin turbos to a single turbo you would be able to do it easier on your 2.8.. I have never looked under the hood but I am pretty sure you have a good big of space to put a turbo. But if you are only looking for 300hp id just go with a simple exhaust, reflash and intake. You prob will be around 300 CHP (crank horsepower) and around 200 AWHP ( all wheel hp ). If you go for a big single turbo you could be looking at any horsepower range pending on turbo size from 350-600HP easily. I could maybe ask a few tuners I know and see if anybody has tried this or if it could be done.

If your stock 2.8L 30V is as fast as the dialectics, vocabulous, and abbreviations, then you may not even have to chip it or put a turbo in. It sounds like is already very performant.

ggavgg... I am trying to discourage you, and I am not trying to sound like a pompous ****... but seriously, there really isn't a bolt on turbo kit for 2.8. It is designed for smooth cruising. Anyways, it has pretty much 10 to 1 compression ratio. With that, you are probably not looking at a big turbo, even if you were able to. Also, there is no one that I heard of tuning ECU for turbo application. I guess you can rely on stock MAF to meter your fuel, but, I doubt that it will handle any turbo application. In addition, you have a 2 bank motor. Unless you have twin turbo setup, you have to mount your turbo after the exhaust intersection. That is either serious piping or utilizing a rear mounted turbo setup.. With all due respect, if you want to turbo a 2.8, then go sell it and get a 2.7T.
