Default Audi a6 2007 2.0tdi 76k jerky movements

HI

I HAVE BEEN THE OWNER OF THE ABOVE VEHICLE FOR 8 MONTHS AND RECENTLY THE CAR HAS STARTED TO JERK WHEN DRIVING IT, I TOOK IT TO MY GARAGE AND THE DIAGNOSTICS REPORTED BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR REPLACED THIS WITH A NON OE BOSCH PART, PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. NEXT WE TOOK THE EGR OFF AND GAVE THAT A GOOD CLEAN PUT IT BACK ON RE CALIBRATED IT TO THE CAR STILL NO JOY. MECHANIC SEEMS TO THINK TURBO OR REPLACE BOOST SENSOR WITH A OE PART. CAN YOU GUYS HELP IF YOU CAN.

PS THERE IS BLACK SMOKE WHEN YOU REV THE ENGINE WHEN IDLE, ALSO DO NOTICE PUFFS OF SMOKE WHEN ACCELERATING HARD THIS IS MORE NOTICEABLE AT NIGHT RATHER THAN DAYTIME

ANY ADVISE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

suggestion 1? DON'T TYPE IN CAPS. Now thats out of the way

When you had a diagnostic done, did you check for codes? and was there any reported missfires?

hi all

quick question would a worn alternator pulley belt cause the car to jerk as when first started it sounds like the car is misfiring until it warms up, car is still jerking booked into audi next week so will see what they say.

thanks all

Default Fixed

I am having the same issue, replaced the MAF and fuel filter but didn’t solve it. Did you get yours fixed?
