Audi A6 3.0 TDI quattro- USA released ever?

Will Audi ever release the A6 3.0 TDI quattro or any diesel in the US? Any plans?

There is very little discussion on the web about TDI engines and Audis, except for the VWs with the TDIs. 204hp / 450Nm is nice with AWD. I really don't like the FWD in my TDI Jetta, but the fuel milage rocks. The chassis is stiff for the canyons. The engine is great too!

I'll just have to wait it out...

It would be awesome, but they have to get the emissions regulations straightened out before they release them over here.
