hi chaps, could somebody tell me the location of the audi A6 thermostat in a r reg motor A6 tse 1.8 many thanks

Just follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. It should be right there.....

 

Its not quite that easy. Its on the front of the engine, passenger side. If your gonna get that far into the motor you might as well do the timing belt and water pump as well, along with the tensioner and tensioner pullys.
