Spending a few weeks on business in Campinas, about 120 klicks northwest of Sao Paulo. Constantly on the look out for A6s and have only seen one - it looked like a late 90s with automatic. Several A4 1.8Ts and a bunch of A3 1.8Ts. There is a local dealership but too far from my hotel to stop in.

It would be great to have mine down here, as most cars are 1.0-2.0 fourbangers like Polo and Celtis. Lots of VW Golfs, Fiats, and Renaults. On the other hand, they all drive like drunken NYC cabdrivers, with the addition of little motorcycles whizzing in and out of traffic, so it is just as well the baby is home safe in the garage.

If there are any forum readers from Brazil, let me know if it's any better in Brasilia or Rio.

PS - On the politically incorrect side, the women are gorgeous (they favor jeans one size too small and high heels) and the local beers are large, cold, and cheap!

 

Take some pictures of the local hotties and post them...I'm sure we would all be intersted in seeing what you see minus a couple of girls I know are members here...Sorry girls...! My manager is from Brazil....she says RIO is hot....if your looking for fun. (all aspects of course).

I wish I could figure out a way to take pictures without a) getting thrown in jail as a pervert, b) slapped silly for being a pervert, or c) getting the crap kicked out of me by a jealous boyfriend. But if I could and my wife found them, then portions of abc would apply plus divorce.

Take my word for it....the eye candy is fantastico.

 

Heading home. Sum total of nice cars were 2 older A6s, a new A4, one Porche 911, and the tail lights of a Ferrari moving rapidly away. In this country, your Ford Escort is a high end performer.

But the women....ahhh....pietos bonitas!

PS - I'm drunk at the San Paulo airport on my way home!
