aux input cable diy...
hello,
for some reason the DIY forums has this "davidp423, you do not have permission to access this page." when i try to post..
i was wondering is theres a diy out there or whatnot that has the steps similar to do this for an 98 audi a6

the rear on the bmw radio is different so is there a way i can do this for my a6..

Sorry I should have been more clear. What I was meaning to say is as soon as you plug in the iPod it will cancel out the CD changer volume because well... I'm not sure, but it does. As soon as you unplug the iPod the cd changer volume will be normal again. I'm assuming the iPod overrides the cd changers signal.

Search for this phrase "This is the harness that connects the CD changer to the head unit. The red and white wires are the audio lines that have been cut and stripped. ".
Then look at the picture, that is where you wan to install your AUX cable (headphone cable)
Don't do anything else unless you feel like it. It is really simple, and I just drilled a tiny hole where my right knee would be
