Best All Season Tires

Best All Season Tires
I need to pick up some all season tires that perform pretty well in the snow (I live outside of Boston). I have the 17's (255/40) on my car. I'm considering the Toyo Proxes 4. Opinions? Suggestions?

RE: Best All Season Tires
Ok, I've spoken to the people at tirerack.com and at onlinetires.com, and have come up with two finalists:
Toyo Proxes 4 255/40/17 ZR
Continental ContiExtremeContact 255/40/17 WR
Which should I choose?
Thanks!

RE: Best All Season Tires
I live in Cleveland and purchased Cooper Lifeliners in July. They were a good price and have done well in the rain. I have 16 inch rims.
Before that I had Dunlop Sport A2. They ran great the first 5000 miles and then had some problems. To be fair my alignment was off, but they seemed to get cupped too quickly. The Coopers are softer than the Dunlops, so if you drive hard you might not like them.

Mounting Tires
My next question:
Mounting 255/40 17 tires- Is the mounting process different for these size tires then a normal 16 inch tire of average width? Anything that would limit or restrict one garage from another to mount these size tires? Anything to keep in mind?
Thanks!

RE: Best All Season Tires
To follow up: In Cleveland we have had every weather condition possible, and usually within a 48 hour period - Dry to wet to slush to ice to snow ect. So far I am very satisfied with Cooper Lifeliner tires.
Another option might be the Continental Contact. Those were OEM tires on our 2004 Volvo S60, and I think that car does well on the ice and snow. The local Audi dealer puts those tires on the used cars they sell.
