Default Blowout

Just got home from a little get together with some friends, on the way home I had a blowout on the highway
Swapped out the wheel and got home, looks so wrong when the wheels don't match haha

Currently I have a set of Pirelli P6 Four Seasons tires on but they're getting on in age and I figure now that the left rear has gone bye bye it may be time to replace them all. Anyone got any suggestions for which tires to go with?

The P6's are P235/46 R 17's.

Go with dedicated tires, Goodyear D3s for Summer and Dunlop M3s for winter. If you want to stick with all-seasons instead, go with Pirelli P Zero Nero M & S. Take a look at Tirerack.com for comparisons.

Thanks for the tip, I do actually have the stock whels in storage right now however they're wearing the same Pirelli P6 Four Seasons tires, just a different size obviously.
I think I may go with summer tires on these wheels now and get dedicated winter tires for the stock wheels once they wear out next winter. Looks like i'm out a little more money than I planned haha.

I have Yokohama Avid S4 on my E30 (205/55/15 not so low) and they feel great. On the Audi I have some cheap chinese stuff off ebay, can not say anything because these are the only tires I had on the car.

I'm running the same Pirelli P6 All-seasons on the stock 17" rims and they seem to wear real well and have been a good winter tire.

I went with Cooper Zeon's because I thought they were American-made (turns out they were melted in the UK) and they had a tread warranty. They're not a super-sticky tire but they were reasonably priced at Discount Tire and are wearing well. They stick fine when taking entrance ramps at 10-15 over the posted speed and ridewell at 75-90.

I know what you mean, the P6's can get pricey, especially here in Canada. Even with a discount they can end up costing more than a set of cheap wheels
