I did not know this until reading it on the A4 forum, but tried it on my A6 and it definitely results in a louder radio....hold the menu button for 5 seconds with the radio on and it will bring up "hidden" settings. The only useful one is the max volume control, it goes up to 15 and it is set at 10 from the factory.
