I just noticed my radio will not power on at all a jump start, fuse is good. I have the code but cant get the radio on to enter it. 96 A6 Quattro with Bose system.

obviously you have a power problem to the radio check for power on the terminals on the rear of the radio and check the fuse there on the radio

 

+1 for the fuse on the back of the radio
