brake problem a6 2.8

i have a 99 audi a6 2.8 quattro.i got this car with the brake problem but thought it was just the pads.well here goes..the brakes are very weak..the car never comes to a sudden stop..it drags itself..i did a full brake bleed..took out alot of air..but still no improvement.i gave to firestone for a better brake bleed and still no chance.could this be a brake master cylinder or calipers??i cant figure out what the problem is..please help

If you apply the brakes at 60 MPH with hands off the steering wheel, does it pull to one side? That would be a sign of a stuck caliper.
Do you have to push the pedal really hard to get it to stop? That would be a sign of a bad brake booster.
Can you lock up one or more wheels? Again a sign of bad calipers if one or two lock up but not the others.
When you had it a Firestone, did they inspect the brake system for you? What did they say?

yes it seems to pull hard to one side when braking at high speeds..and steering vibrates a little too...and yes i have to press it way to the bottom...does this mean i have to change the caliper and the booster??

i put a new brake booster in but still theres no sign of improvement.its actually worse...should i just bleed from the wheels?
please help me..

I'd start by looking at the rubber brake lines going to the calipers. If they weren't changed in the last few years, change them. Have the calipers pulled and looked at while your there, as well as the rotors and pads. You've already done the booster. When your there, completely flush the brake fluid. Use a good quality DOT 4.

You should have it pressure bled, not the old 'pump' method, or vacuum either.
