The only special tool you should need is the key for turning the piston in the caleper back in, I would think most parts stores carry it, and it was cheap, I don't remember having any trouble finding one when I did mine, my car is an '02

I got my rotors at FCP Groton online...they probably sell the tool also. you can use this code for 20%off: maxrossi20 it was given to me with my last purchase and they said I could pass it around....

It is a standard brake caliper tool that you can rent from Autozone for about $30-40 and then return when you are done, getting your $30-40 back.

Just so you know- your car has 3 differnt rotors that were used. You should pull one of the rotors off your car and measure the hat heigh and diameter before you order - if you get the wrong ones, they won't fit on there.

Default need urgent help

i was trying to replace them today, got all the right parts.
got the brake caliper tool, problem is that the piston is pushed so far out that the took isnt fitting in inorder for me to push/twist it inn.

im stuck now because my old pads were soo worn that one of them fell out already (it wasnt there when i took the wheel off) the other side had decent amount left. dont know why only ONE SIDE of the ONE ROTOR went out

anyways; is there anyother way to push the caliper in? even a little so that the tool fits, i need about 2cm
