Unhappy Brakes L+R front stuck, ABS issue???

I have a A6 2000 model 2.4L

Never had any issues with my front brakes untill a few days ago. I had my brake pads replaced two months ago and everything was OK.

What happened; suddenly my brakes starts to get stuck and the more I drive the more it gets stuck, looks like. To get home, I continued although slowly but nearly burned them down. The pads are almost gone now and needs replacement for aswell the disks, I'm afraid. ABS and ECP alarms were on! I have tried to drive the car two times since the occurance and it is OK for a while but after braking a few times it get slowly stuck and can't continue. I can see it affect both Left and Right front brakes.

I have tried to disable the ABS by removing the 10A fuse at position 7 but this doesn't help. i have read about a faulty ABS control unit. Should I remove this control unit, could this be the culprit.??

thanks in advance.
