Button on Driver Side Door Jam?

I bought my car used and it doesn't have a owners manual. Does anyone know what the button is on the driver side door panel? There is a trunk release button and then there is a button below that which appears to have a signal tower on it??? I have no idea what it could be. Any help would be great!

RE: Button on Driver Side Door Jam?

It's the central locking button which toggles the motion sensors on/off inside the car when the doors are locked. You can turn them off, so like if you leave your pet in the car (not on hot days) and if it moves around it won't trigger the alarm.

It is the button to disable the internal sensors for the alarm. Say you leave someone in the car and lock the door, if you didn't press this button the alarm would sound if they moved.

go ahead and order an owners manual here:

You can probably find one on ebay too...but it will be used.

Thanks for the advice. I have that ordering site on my favorites, just haven't got around to getting one yet.
