Can you get 06 A6 wheels on an 00 A6?

You can put 05 wheels on an 2000. They both have the same 5 X 112 pattern. You have to adjust the tire size to keep the ratio the same. Example 245/45-17 or 245/40-18, My stock wheels on a 2000 2.7 are 215/55-16 butI have some 18 X 8.5 wheels with 245/40-18 on it now, but I had to add some 5mm spacers to make them clear the calipers in the front.Some 05 wheels are equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system and has a sensor installed in the tire and wheel assembly. I knowmy cardoesnt have anything like that so you wouldn't need it if you get a rim that had it on. I think you can get them taken off. The sensor and valve stems for that cost almost $300. So you may be able to get a little money back. Good luck.

I will post pics if they do or don't bolt up ok. I think with the base 2.8 brakes that I will be just fine. I got a set of takeoff 06 18x8s with brand new all season Continental tires and the sensors (resell those!). The tires are a hair under an inch taller, but that might be ok since it feels like the car is slightly overgeared to me.

The seller will let me return them if I don't get a fit.

Well, everything is good except the clearance from the knuckle. The setup is going to need some clearance from the knuckle to work. 5 or 10mm not sure. Oh, I meant 06 wheels too by the way.

I ordered some Eibach 8mm spacers with bolts. If they don't work, this whole project goes down the toilet.

The Eibach spacers are good. That's what I had to get. I went with 5mm. You may notice that your ride qualitymay suffer a little, but atleast you will look better. Good luck with it.

10mm spacers = no fitty! SH!T! Tires are just too wide and too tall. Gonna have to go to a 235/40 or 225/40 to get this to work.
