I want to turn my key into a switchblade key. It's the exact same key as the newer models. I was just wondering if anyone has tried to turn a older model key into a switchblade before.
any knowledge about this would be great!

The blade could be the same but not the key as a whole!
As you do not have an immobilizer, you could use anything that fits the locks to open the door and start the engine.

I strongly doubt the remotes would be compatible.
