RE: cd changer

I would check ebay for a 6 CD changer. The changer will mount on the left side of the truck, just above your jack. You may need a flashlight, but look inside the compartment and just off to the right, you should see a black cable wire tied off maybe wrapped in a piece of foam to protect the plug! Look inside the plug and count the pins. I think it should be a total of 13 pins but I know some of the earlier models had a 8 pin plug. My 2000 had 13. I looked long and hard on ebay, patiently for about 6 months and finally won 1 for a total of $110 bucks, including shipping.

The cd changer is a simple mount, plug in and play!

Good Luck!

You can also check the classifieds in this and other Audi forums.

If I were you, I'd skip right past the CD Changer and go directly to a Phatbox MP3 system which is a plug'n'play item with our cars in place of a CD Changer.

2nd. That or an iPod. See my registry (available through my signature) if you're interested in learning about iPod integration options.

Yes. That's the deal. Go to www.phatnoise.com for details on the product. Do a google to find where they are for sale. Getting tough to find. Expect to pay around $175.

Mario,

Ixne on the MP3a. No luck. If you're an MP3 fan, go iPod or Phatbox.

I am afraid that if I get an Ipod, the quality of the sound wont be that good :S
