CD Changer - play MP3 CD's?
 

can the cd changer in my 98 A6 play mp3 cd's? i know it can play audio cd-r's, but what about mp3 cd's. im guessing not because i dont think that mp3 players were out back then lol.

lol i dont think much was around in 1998! so thats a no.

however you can probably buy a new head unit with cd that plays mp3s then hook it up to the changer in the boot. so you can then play mp3 cds from the head unit.

You'd be better off buying a Phatbox or an iPod and integrating it. My $.02
