Default CEL=Limp mode?

I'm wondering if every CEL 'on' results to Limp/safe mode condition always?

Based on limited experience with my 2003 2.7, I'd had sofar only intermittent codes.

I'm prone to believe that the intermitent codes do not cause ECU to gets into limp mode.

The very common codes as: 19497 - Powertrain Databus: Implausible Engine Temp. Message from Inst. Panel
P3041 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16502 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Signal too High
P0118 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16685 - Cylinder 1: Misfire Detected
P0301 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0000 Is there anything I’m missing here?

Monitoring the fuel consumption and performance while having CTS dtc - (faulty item):

I have not noticed worsen consumption.

Even while the CEL is on.

It seems to me the CTS is not fully in charge to input to the ECM?
