Hi, The cup holder in my center console in front of the E brake broke. How hard is this to fix, does it just pop right out? How much is the cup holder from Audi? Thanks.

 

If you look down along the sides of the cup holder there is a tab (or maybe two) that you have to depress while you pull straight up on the cup holder. The replacement just slides right in until it clicks.

I got mine off ebay (via Hong Kong). Brand new, OEM markings. Don't remember exactly what I paid but it was less than $30 after shipping (comparatively cheap)

 

If it's epically stuck - like mine was, you have to take the entire center console apart. Armrest then center console (only a few nuts and screws, it's pretty easy actually). It was worth it however. Still have yet to buy a new one but like above mentions, it will just slide right in. Ebay.

Hello, I see this post is over 3 years old, but I'm wondering if you or anyone that may see this knows where to buy the replacement cup holder and price? My 03 cup holder (console in front of e--brake) is also damaged. First the two tabs broke off, and now it will not stay closed. I'm also looking for aa replacement console lid, perhaps just the latch. My latch is broken.
