I need help asap, check engine light came on for the third time in the three weeks. First it was the o2 sensors, then it was the mass air flow sensor and now it gives a code via VAG-COM, WARM UP CATALYST BANK 1: EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESOLD, does anybody have clue what this means and how to repair it. Thanxs

 

Probably means you have a bad catalytic converter.

 

Yep, probably the CATs. How many miles are on your car? If you don't have a warranty, they are covered federally until 77,000 miles. Take it to an independent shop and see what they say. If they say it's the CAT's, you can take it to Audi and have them fixed for free. If you have an extended warranty, you can have anything else fixed also. Mine just got out of the shop for the CAT's and mass air flow sensor and now it runs like a champ!
