check engine light / to much gas
 

ok my audi A6 2.8 year 2000
is comsuming to much gas. and the check engine light is on.
so i take it to the shop and the connect the computer.

it say something about the ventilation system in the fuel deposit and liking problem.

so they check the car fuel system and found a problem with a valve. located under the rear tire of the car. the valve is about trhe size of a engine base

the solution is to change the part.
the problem: the say the cost is $385.00 so I ask them what is the name of the part. to look for a better price some where ealse.

the say it only show in the audi book as a VALVE dont have any other name.
any body knows what valve are this pleople talking about. what is the name. I wanted to look for it on the internet. but since i dont know the name of the valve is very dificult
can any body help here

Do you speak english? Your post is almost impossible to read & understand.

So, car broken, part $385, or part + install? Part under rear tire? Should that not be the road?

If you want to search for a better price on the part, you will need either the NAME OF IT, or the part #. You might be able to go to an Audi dealer, & have them look for the part # for you.
