Does your oil temp gauge work?
Mine stop working, just wondering if that might be why.
I have 145,000 probably looks just like that lol...
My next oil change Ill take the pan off clean it and the Oil Level/temp Sensor...
before I buy one see if I can get it will work again..

Oil temp gauge works

I had to replace the original engine. Purchased the used engine online. Oil temp works. Water temp gauge is about half way. Use a can of oven cleaner on your oil pan (just like new) and used high temp RTV on the oil pan. I'm using Mobil synthetic 5W-30 (6.8 qts) and Mobil oil filter.

Is there anything im suppose to be looking at like a broken metal or something? Or are you talking about the sludge?

Just the sludge and heavy carbon deposits. I'll probably give the engine a good flush or two on the next oil change...
