Choosing A6 4.2Q tires
Hello,
All 4 tires have developed cracks on the side walls and do not maintain pressure. There is still good amount of tread left on these 255/40 ZR 17's made by Pirelli. The dealer claims that these tires have been mounted before my purchase at 40,000 miles. I have put 30,000 miles since then. Last yearall 4tires were shaved, they were causing lot of noise.I am thinking about replacing these tires.
Does any one have any suggestions or recommendations?
I am thinking about Falken. I used them on my 5000 T.Q and never had any issues like this!

Summer Dedicated - Goodyear D3s
Winter Dedicated - Dunlop M3s
All Season - Pirelli P Zero Ner0 M&S
The Goodyear D3s have been chosen as the top summer tire by Car & Driver, European Car and the testers at Tire Rack. Take a look at Tirerack.com

If you are looking for summer-only tires, the Nexxen n3000 can't be beat. Don't listen to people that these are crap tires because they are cheap - they aren't crap. They are the best summer tires I've owned, and you can get a set on ebay for under $400.
Good luck!
