wiper problem. Please Help!

1997 A6, wipers will stop working randomly, then restart a day or two later, has anyone had this problem or know the fix?

Not an EZ fix... Your probably going to have to look for a loose or broken wire. I'd start at the switch and wiper motor first, but I suspect it is a problem in the switch
