Clunk over bumps from the front

Hi All,

New member here. I am a former owner of a 2000 A6 2.7T. It was the best car I ever owned. That's why I joined and want to hang around. So don't flame me!

However, I recently traded my A6. It had 95,000 miles. However, when it had about 50,000 miles, I heard the same clunking noise. The problem wasupper control arms. Just out of warranty.

Hope yours is something else. (less expensive)
